suspension service interval question

so I was wondering what is a good interval to service suspension on my bikes, In the past i have been guilty of running them till the seal leaks then doing them.
I am not a track rider,just a slow trail rider who rides frequently.

Every 6 months ultimately, but with trail riding that you do, I would do it every year. Fresh oil and seals is the way to keep them working good. I will be talking mine off this summer and having TRE go through them, replace the oil new seals, polish everything back up and they are ready to go for another season.

Ditto, I service my forks once a year, along with the shock.

I am guilty of not servicing until leaking also, common thing! I guess it's time! :cheers:

I concur on the 6-12 month service cycle, just depends on how much you ride.

Also are you bleeding your forks before and after every ride? Will help with the life.

What? you don't talk your parts off your bike. I have trick bikes and do not need to take the parts off myself. :prof:

I'd say that once a year would be a good idea. I'm don't follow my own advice though.

I recommend a new bike every other year. This avoids all service work, just add fuel and change rear tire :prof:
