I was trying to get up to the LPNF for the longest time. I have hit it many times since they opened it up, mid June. sometimes multiple times in a week. last weekend I rode Saturday and Sunday, and this weekend it will be the same.

I remember waaaaaay back when we use to ride up in the Big Bear area...these pics remind me a lot of that terrain...some of it open, tight ST, open roads, water crossings - regular 1 ft deep road crossings to the "Deep Creek" crossing which was too deep for us to try...that ride is going in the camp fire story thread! :thumb:

My stories of riding don't go back too far, as I started riding less than three years ago. never ever on a bike before age 49. Got hooked on ridin. a great stress release. the deepest water crossing I have gone through was at Kennedy Meadows two years ago, and it was about a foot deep. near same place that cows and bulls chase after us, and where I had to ride back more than 10 miles on a front flat through the rocks and such.. LOLOL.
