should I get a dirt bike?

There aren't really any oil injected two strokes around unless you go back to the 70s.
They are unreliable as well.

Pre mix is the standard unless you want a four stroke.

I did not suggest a 4T because finding a nice one for under $1K is going to be alot tougher than finding a 2T on CL. -BIG DAN:thumb:

Oh wow I didn't know that! I thought they would be like a snowmobile. I have an oil injected 2 stroke sled. I thought bikes would be the same

I had a 1977 KE250 that was oil injected. It worked but, I was always leary...

So anyways, the 90s Japanese bikes are the ticket in your price range.

Yep, sounds good.

Things to check before buying.

-Airfilter... Make them show it to you. If it's filthy, they probably aren't maintaining the bike properly.
-Chain/Sprockets/Tires... These costs pile up.
-Depending on where you live, check on registration and title. (may not be required)
-Leaks

Anyone have any other tips for pre-buy inspection?
