RR --> Cal City - Husky- Joberg - Randsburg - Cal City

Seven of us took a 103 mile ride in the Desert last weekend. It was great. We staged at Borax Bills in Cal City at 8 am Saturday. rode out to the Husky Monument, up to Joberg for Gas, over to Randsburg for Lunch, and back to Cal City.

We will be doing another desert run this Saturday as well.

Looks like the American Flag need to be replaced. If you go again, bring one. We like to keep it flying sweet. (Even if its not lit at night) the animals are not legalistic. Awsome report, you should swing up to searles and find the DBA party.

Did another ride this weekend.. this time 11 of us did 111 miles. Great ride. I was doin ok until I tried to clear a rut from hell. the front tire cleared and I though I was home free. the chain guard hit the rut and snapped off, stretching and throwing the chain off the sprocket. jack had a chain breaker, he was able to remove two links, giving enough tension to keep the chain on the highly worn sprocket. Now I need to replace the chain and sprocket. as well I need to get the chain guard bracket welded back on.

I tried to hunt down a flag before going, but only found a really big one which wouldn't of worked. Hopefully I could find a decent sized one before the next trip.

I've done it the last 3 years in a row. We usually do a Husky ride to kick off the season, and switch it out then. But with my riding sidelined, it never got done.
