Send the piston with it, or buy one from them on their order form. That way the jug comes back to piston spec, measure ring gap and assemble.

Kind of depends on my mood anymore. When I was having cylinders bored or new sleeves put in I always had them fitted for a specific piston. As many pistons as you will usually go through on a single plate job now, makes it pretty much impossible to keep matching the duo.

Yup....on stock bores I don't worry about that. As long as I'm not using Billy Bobs Backwoods just like new Pistons, I've not had a problem yet.

I just tell the plater to make it to oem specs and then use a wiseco. No problems yet. :thumb:

Well yah, but the nice thing about it is sending an A sized piston can be replace with the following letters and your guaranteed a good fit through the years, without much skirt slap. But the size difference is minimal, so to each his own, and peace of mind. Especially if it's you personal ride.
