Big "FIR" coats

Quiet pillow face
My summer road trip this year was to ride up the coast to search for the Lost Coast of California. I'm happy to report that I found it. 
Everything that I've ever read about this ride mentions how rough the road is. I can now say that they are correct. I had a little mishap with a pothole that left me with leaking forks, but otherwise had a great ride. It's so beautiful up there. I wish I had taken more pics.
This is the little store/post office in Honeydew. I took a break here after the roughest stretch where I blew the fork.
This was one of the better parts of the road.
I was fascinated by the black sand.
