President of Monster Energy Wanting to Build a Track in Michigan

I thought this was pretty cool, looks like he's getting a little push back though. :(


Indian River native and creator of the Monster Energy drink brand Mark Hall says he wants to give something back to his home town.
Hall wants to build a world-class motocross track in Indian River that could include large spectator and camping areas and a club house for VIPs and corporate sponsors. The venue would host over 20,000 people for events including dirt bike, off-road truck and snowmobile races.

PEOPLE ARE SO DUMB... yea lets deny something that will most likely bring 20k people into your city for a weekend. naw that revenue is just not worth it :picard:

For a weekend?! For many weekends throughout the year including many outdoor/supercross events! Do you know how many families would camp there too? I know we would go for a weekend, its the perfect extreme sports get away for awhile. These people are retarded! He's basically donating to the city.
 
It seems that most of the "whiners" are well to do and don't care about the economic impact this venue would have for the town and people that need a job. Not to mention the fun factor for people
