I think your bike is too new and that part is not made yet unless its the same as the 2012

The 2012 one fits just fine on the 2013 as its nearly the same thing

Works as in "fits" or works as in "I threw my bike and some rocks and it deflected them just fine".

Both. It fits perfectly and has held up to any rock and or dirt nap I've come across.

I have the aluminum type of pipe heat shield and it works great. I have the carbon fiber skid plate and it has taken a beating. I will replace it with an aluminum version when the time comes.
