I'm a true Blue fan, not only when it comes to bikes. Enough said about that, when you do get your welder, slide your fork legs up in the triples, that will make it lower, giving you a better ground, which will in-turn, give you better beads. If aesthetic looking welds aren't what you're looking for, and you just want penetration, throw a couple Viagras in the flux capacitor, and that should make you golden. No need to thank me, but you're welcome in advance.:prof:

Please don't hase the new guys, it pisses me off to no end when I see this happening, especially when it's uncalled for. Granted this is a dirt bike forum, however we have this off topic section for everything non dirt bike related. He had a serious question, so either answer it seriously or don't bother. :thumb:

Now if this was a spammer I'd be joining in. :smirk:

Ive never heard of the Longevity. However Miller makes a quality welding machine, along with Lincoln. So based off of what I know about Miller welding machines I would say go with the Miller.

I did not know that. :thumb:

I'm guessing "throw a couple Viagras in the flux capacitor, and that should make you golden" is a pro then? :smirk:

Miller. Much Much more mainstream, therefore easier to find parts, and frankly Miller makes a nice machine:thumb:

Now why are you buying a TIG? If you don't mind me asking...

I have a lincoln wire feed and Arc. I guess that is why I have more honda's and Huskies than Yamaha. Never had problems finding parts for either.

Longevity Tig Welder 200DX

Thanks for the help but I have decided to go with longevity for a tig welder that was very much in my price range along with a 5 year warranty, this company made sure I was happy and had great customer service....I am going to post some pics of my welds so be sure to let me know what you think

Good welds is an art and a lot of practice. I have a Lincoln 220volt stick welder, had it for a long, long time. I took a couple of welding classes when I was in college and I have used this thing for many things and it is very handy to know how to weld properly. Post up those pictures when you can. :thumb:
