how can i put a head light on a 1990 yz 250 i saw one on youtube and it looked sick thanks in advance

putting one on is easy, making it work is another thing...do you want it just for looks or do you want it to ride at nite? Something like a KTM light would most likely go right on the forks. The stator output which provides the electricity for the light may be too weak to make it work.

Both my 1989 YZ250WR and 1993 WR500 (MX Bikes) have 35 Watt stators installed from the factory.
It can run a light if you have this stator. I think after 1989 they split the 250cc class into the YZs and WRs with the latter retaining the lighting coil. -BIG DAN

and it clicked im going to try a universal head light i saw on motor sport and put led bulbs in it with a 12v battery
