Oil Leak From Case Halves Seal.

I have a 1988 Yamaha DT-50 Liquid Cooled 2 stroke enduro bike. The case halves I think are leaking a bit of gear oil. Not to much just a slow little leak.
I was wondering if I could use some OEM three bond sealant to patch it from the outside?
I just need it to hold up for a summer of light off road riding and mostly on road riding. Thanks!

If the leak is coming from the transmission end of the crankcase, then some careful cleaning and sealant can get you through a few more rides. -BIG DAN:thumb:
