See the desert racers for the locally ran events the Pro's sport blue back grounds with white numbers. Experts run white back grounds with black numbers. Novice run yellow back grounds with black numbers and the Amatures run Black back grounds with white numbers. But this may only apply to the one local even that I participate in also.
