Just an FYI about a new virus going around. It's an e-mail that if opened will attach itself to your address book and launch to everyone in it.
You get an e-mail from someone you know, but it has "(No Subject)" in the title, and the small file attached symbol.
My neighbor opened it and is now getting all sorts of spam. He told me if I get an e-mail from him not to open it, it was in my inbox that afternoon.
Not sure how widespread it is, but it tried again tonight impersonating a relative in Europe.

This has been around for awhile. I still get e-mails from an old work associate like this. I just put his e-mail in my junk folder.

Greetings to you and permit me to introducing myself, my name is Charles Gaffney and I'm one of Chief Investigation Officer with the EU MFI (European Union Monetary Financial Institutions). I have an urgent and a very confidential business proposal I brought before you, this business is regarding Mr.Slawomir Skrzypek. who was the President of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) from 2007 until his death in 2010. He died in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash, when a plane transporting a number of Polish notables, including the President of Poland.

On my recently concluded investigation and routine checkup, I found out that Mr.Slawomir Skrzypek made security funds lodgement in one of the European Security Financial Institute without the knowledge of any party. My proposal is this, if there is no beneficiary coming forward to claim this funds, according to the law of banking regulation; the money will be forfeited an unclaimed bill to the country government or top bank officials who will later discover the whereabout of the account been dominant. I need you to stand in for the change of ownership for the funds indemnity to avoid the funds getting into the hands of government officials for luxury.
