Well SuzukiDude. You may have a good eye and calling it a 99 or 2000 model. I did some photo comparisons and the 99's for sure have the same radiator shrouds. The only way to know for sure is to ask the guy for the VIN#. Its located on the steering stem. What YOU need to be looking for is what the 10th letter or number. In this case because its a suzuki it will be (should be) a letter. For a 99 the tenth letter should be a X, 2000 should be a Y, 2001 should be a K followed by a 1 or K1, 2002 should be K2, 2003 should be a 3 or an 03, 2004 should be a 4 or an 04.

Look at your bikes first so you understand what Im talking about. You will be reading the VIN from top to bottom or left to right depending on how its installed on your bike.
