I know some of you guys are MTBrs too, I just spent the weekend in Mammoth camping and riding what a blast. This was my first time riding Mammoth but it definitely wont be the last, I will be buying a season pass next year. We rode our hearts out Saturday and Sunday and we still didn't manage to hit all of the DH trails, I am so bummed its closed I cant wait to go back. We were too busy riding to take a bunch of pictures but I did manage to get a few. :wave:

ive done some MTB at the ski resort in big bear. it was many years ago and they didnt have cool wood berms and jumps... that looks like a lot of fun.

Nice report. I rode BrianHead a few years back and it was a blast. My buddy did Mammoth a couple years ago and said it was fun. I do not have DH bikes like you have which allows you to hit the big stuff, but we still had a great time. Thanks for sharing.

yea the right DH bike at a ski resort in the summer is a LOT of fun. i use to go wehn i worked at a bike shop and one of the owners raced big bear. i got to ride his 5k DH Giant. it was so damm fun. with that bike you could close your eyes and ride straight towards a curb and just roll over it. i think it had 12 inches of travel in the front and back... and this was 10 years ago so i bet they are even better now a days.
