I thought it was when you went to a collective and picked up 4 grams, you got the fifth one (instant and for free). Hence the name Instagram was invented.

I guess I could be wrong after looking at Dans picture he posted.

It's the same as snap chat isn't it? My kids are doing that shit all the time back and fourth to each other. Records a video that is only viewable for the one time you open it.

Not really, Twitter has more features. Literally the only thing you can do on Instagram is post photos and 15 second videos, comment on other posts, and "follow" people. There's no direct messaging, nor can you post links.

I do not tweet, instagram, snap chat and barely FB. Linked In gets a look every other month or so. I am too old to keep up with all this social crap and I still need a reason to send my pigeons out.
