So here you can see that the IMS (on the right) does not change the cock pit too much as it is close to the same width as the stock tank. Here is where most of the fuel gain is. As you can see the tank hangs down a little further. I might add that this side gave me some static when installing the radiator shroud. With the filler neck being off center and the tank bubbling out on this side, you had to be strategic on what bolt to put in first. You will also notice that you can use the stock pet cock and I used the stock fuel line from the old tank that connects to the carb. Here is the right side and you only notice a slight diff in size, where the bottom of the tank stays straight. Here is a closer look, looking down on the tanks. You can see that with the offset fuel neck, it bubbles out the tank a little and makes the shroud curve a little, but you still have a pretty narrow cockpit. Bottom line I was real happy with the install and look once it was on. IMS gives you new hardware to replace all the rad shroud bolts and 2 new bolts for the petcock. New gas cap and fuel line if needed. Also received 2 shinny IMS stickers, that once I figure out a place to put them, should increase the HP gains significantly. Enjoy and looking forward to running this thing dry...:ride:
