1988 Chevy s10, just over 200k miles
3-5k its never exact but almost always between there, I'm actually due for one soon.
Just been using the cheapest dino oil so far, and no issues. Always use a wix filter on mine.
2000 Honda Civic DX with 189xxx miles.
changed every 3000 miles with 5w-20 royal purple and a napa gold filter. (people say it is unnecessary, but they will understand when it is still running strong at 300,000 miles).
2004 Yamaha FZ1 with 9,430 miles.
Change every 1000 miles with 10w-40 yamalube and a K&N oil filter. (rides at 5,000 rpm at 65 mph. So I'll keep the oil fresh to keep my baby happy).
Aw just read the title (gasoline engines). You need to change oil in those too? My car just says drive and then a message is suppose to come up that says, "take in for service"
