I think we are all (most) in various stages of healing....I've got a nasty blunt force trauma that has finally quit oozing (stupid trees). Doesn't stop me from riding though, tape and go.
I believe you mean disabled and unable/unwilling to ride?

my buddy just got hit by a car last night a mild concussion and hes covered in brusies, worst of all he had the right away and some lady on the phone ran a light doing 20 or 30 MPH

Im not injured...my bike was injured. But my back did hurt last week, and my throttle thumb hurts bad but all pain that goes away when I throw my leg over the bike!
