The whole concept of terrorism is to do something that will have a major impact and affect a large number of people. I would suspect that any attempts at terrorism would be in larger cities with a more concentrated population, on a strategic facility such as a chemical plant, or government building/installation. All anyone can do is be cognizant of their surroundings and what's going on around them. I travel (fly) at least a couple of times a month for work around the country and have noticed more people are paying attention to things like bags left unattended. Twice in the last couple of months, I've seen people run down security in airports for bags left unattended. In both cases, it was some idiot that went to the restroom and left their bags in the gate area unattended. Both times they and their bags were whisked off by cops to explain their actions, as well as, go through an uncomfortable search.
