Helmet Eject Systems

I've always been a fan of the Shift Strike gear, however found a deal on www.motorcyclecloseouts.com (<--my favorite closeout store) that I couldn't pass up. :thumb:

Picked up this set for less then a c-note, damn saving money feels good. :ride:

James - I just noticed the "Eject Equipped" on your helmet. Is that an emergency take off system??

Sorry to highjack your thread Dan. :thumb:

Yes Sir it is, it's actually only required for pro AMA races though. But with my motto, relating to safety equipment, being "If it's available, get it, it's only your life we're talking about".......:noidea:

I was looking at Shoei helmets and they don't come with the eject air bag they come with the ability to pull the cheek pads straight down out without taking helmet off. So once the check pads are out, the helmet comes off easily without putting strain or pressure on the head or neck. I thought that was pretty nice feature. I just wish I had $500 to buy one.:smirk:

:thumb: All the new big name helmets seem to be going that way. If I remember right the new Bell Moto 9 will have this feature.

Isn't there one where the chinbar even comes apart?

I'm going to move these posts into a new thread before SRAD gets pissed. :P

I'm surprised the owner hasn't kicked your ass yet! Here let me take care of part of that! :focus:...:foul:

My TLD lid I just acquired has the quick pull ear pieces and the eject system in it. I was a AMA Pro lid though..:thumb:
