I have several friends that race prosport and supersport on an average race weekend they spend 3-5K on tires. Just to get the bike ready for its 1st day at the track they dump 5-6k into "must have" mods like breakaway fuel fillers, special batteries, kill switches, shifters etc etc. Then they have the 10k sticker on the bike from the dealer...
Itys very expensive just to race local events... My one buddy budgets 15k just for the Daytona 200 race... thats Yamahas fuel budget for that week... guess how much they (Yammi) budget for the entire race? Its around $475k plus.. Thats why the little guys dont get a break... and run in 15th place.
