wow dumb me I meant oil filter haha I know where the air filter isUsually it's in the airbox under the seat, and you have to remove the seat to see it/remove it. If you are talking about the oil filter, its the round cap below the header pipe and right above/beside the water pump.

Have to take off the seat. Remove the two 10 mm bolts at the rear of the seat.
Using NH's image...
1 - Oil filter, remove the two 8 mm bolts and pop the cover off
2 - Coolant drain plug/bolt. (top bolt of the two)
3 - Oil fill hole.
no, you just take out the two 8mm bolts to change the filter

Just pull on it, there's a rubber seal on the other end that's holding it in.

Stainless steel filters are better IMO. Just blow it out from the center hole and reinstall.
I'm going toJustin, you should really get a all around service manual for your bike, it will help you with anything from oil changes to engine rebuilds and anything and everything in between
Or spend it on crack, that works too
