yeah, i seldom need steering head bearings. the most over engineered part of the rig usually when talking tapered rollers. the people who set them up too loose, lubed out of the package, or wash it incorrectly have probably been the reasons that I ever replaced a set of those. In fact if someone doesn't go nuts with the pressure washer or the car wash almost all the chassis bearings will last many seasons if not life.
