Watching your videos, I notice a lot of down trees. Some look like they would have potential to yield some really nice lumber for projects. Do any lumber companies or people use that wood?

Mostly Lodgepole pine is SW Idaho. I don’t see much commercial logging on Federal land. I think most of the logging takes place on private land and State land? Much of the areas I visit have been negatively impacted by wildfires and the willful mismanagement of public land.
Thanks. I wasn’t thinking so much about logging as just using the already down trees. But, if it’s pine, then yeah; kinda limits what you could use it for.
