Fireroads or not, anytime outdoors on a beauitful day is good in my book:thumb: Being on the bike just makes it twice as sweet. Looks like you all had a fun day. I need to get over to DWF someday. Those views are beautiful!! But that doesnt look like the staging area for DWF, it looks like Bouquet Cyn..:noidea:

So has Angeles finally opened the route to DWF from the Bouquet side? I'm also guessing that they have opened the power line road north from DWF that takes you to the Rock Inn?

Thanks Tire, We have some fun riding around here. Travis, We do need to ride, it's been ions since we started watchig each others videos, but never hit a ride together. looking forward to it. and Sun, Yes, We staged at Bouquet, that entrance is finally open.

The gate on Bouquet has been open for a few weeks now. the k-rails at top are opened up and set to the side. and, I didn't recall any k-rails or signs going to the north, the roads were open all the way through the way we went. We did see alot of work had been done up there. lots of new fences on the tule ridge side closing off the nice side shoots. Basically all jeep/fireroads but some technical rocky, rutted flow to them. Nice for a change, opening up more to ride.

My bike has been down for a while so I've not had a chance to check it out. Been riding the DWF to Rowher route and back since the trail up out of Bouquet was built many years ago.

Ever since the open area at DWF was closed about 25 years ago, only the jeep/fireroads have been legal. Yes, all those little singletracks are user created and not OK to ride no matter how fun they are.
