Ok, so I got the Keintech torque limiter mod for the 1999 DR650 that had a solid gear.
Once I got it I realized it was a straight order from a 2000 stock engine.
Keintech advertises this as their own custom mod, and charges $225.00.
The parts can be ordered for $161.00. I don't mind a guy making a buck, but a 35% markup feels like a butt rape without grease.(I'm just guessing there..)
So, the TM40 carb seems like the easiest mod.
Anyone know where to get the manifold adaptor and which throttle cables are used for the TM40?
