Difference in reeds?

What are the advantages or disadvantages in different style of reeds.

I have the cheapo boyesen reeds that have very few hours on them. Single stage

But is it worth moving to Dual stage... And if so... Is the carbon reeds good or should i stick with the power reeds.

I don't like carbon reeds as they do have a tendency to chip sometimes... If you have Boyesen power reeds then they should be dual stage.

Right now i just have the super stock... I think they are called... I put them in when i did the top end.... Single stage.... I wanna go to dual stage.

I run the V-Force 3 with carbon reeds on my 250 and I love the snap I get from them. I have had no issue with the wear as well as no chipping.

My 200 came stock with boyesen carbon single stage, no chipping, lasted a long time! Switched to dual stage power reeds.

when i went from single stage stock reeds to power reeds I noticed a huge boost in bottom end. Same with the RM250's I rode, went from one with stock reeds, to one with power reeds, huge difference.
