Amatuer CRA secdule

Wellllppp got my 2011 CRA (Competive Riders of America) sced. I am happy to announce that my first race will be March 27 2011. :thumb: I will be racing schoolboy and running at Malvern. It's gonna be 16 races from March 27 to November 5. About half way through the year in June I will have to decide if I wanna race Fair cross. If I have enough money and time and energy then it will be on but if just the Malvern series ties me up then I'll stick to that.

So anyone else get their scedules?
 
Why, is racing gonna blow it up?
It will wear it out... 16 races plus practice is allot of riding.... you will prob need a piston and rings at some point

Have you checked your valve clearance ever?
You will want to start doing it. Those yzf heads are pretty bullet proof.

I'm checking my clearance in the spring, as my dad say "don't fix anything thats not broken". My bike has been running like the day I bought it, sometimes even better. My tires are still good too. But anyhow I'm paying for practices right now, once spring starts and I can make more money I plan to keep a couple hundred bucks on hand for when I need something. Spring/summer/fall I make alot of money. One year and I had my old bike paid off from a 3 year loan.

Don't fix it if it aint broke is not a good idea with a performance mx 250:shocked: always check stuff

I know, I do do alot of preventive stuff, once a week I go over all my bolts with a tourque wrench and lube everything all up. I should do a vlave check though.
