Choosing the Right Riding Suit – Need Advice for Everyday and Long-Distance Use

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on choosing a riding suit for regular motorcycle commuting and occasional long rides. I want to understand what features matter most, such as material durability, waterproofing, ventilation, and safety ratings.

There are so many options available that I’m not sure whether to go for a one-piece or two-piece suit.

How important is brand reputation compared to fit and comfort? Also, are expensive suits really worth the extra cost for everyday riders?

I would appreciate recommendations, personal experiences, and tips on what to avoid when buying a riding suit for different weather conditions.

The most important thing is that it fits. If it feels good, you'll wear it. A textile two-piece is usually the best choice for commuting because it has the right amount of waterproofing, vents, and practicality. One-piece suits are more of a hassle every day.
You don't have to spend a lot of money; just make sure it fits well, has good CE armor, and is waterproof and well-ventilated.
