Biggy, those times with your Dad are pure gold. I am hosting a party for my own Dad who is turning 80 next month!!! Yep, time flies - I have been doing a ton of reflecting lately. You and your brother are very fortunate. Balancing time between your parents and your kids is something they don't teach in school. If there is one bit of advice I could share with you younger guys, it would be this, "You can't buy a day back." Seems like you have it nailed.

Next year I hope to be back on a motorcycle for the trip. Since the age of inter-bike communications, I prefer to take in the scenery from 2 wheels. Holding out for a Honda CBR1100xx Super Blackbird... -BIG DAN

I think about you every time I throw it on.
We do a kind of fake fly fishing. All barbless flies and 6-8 foot 1-2lb test leaders, but we typically fish where you can't be flailing around much, so we use regular poles and dead float in the streams. It is just as effective. -BIG DAN

This trip was all about family. Took my girlfriend of 10 years with my brother, mother and father.
Such a good time sitting around the fire, stream, or boat just chatting about nothing.
