125 big bore kx125

just picked up a 95 kx125 for cheap.it needs cases replaced,when i pulled it apart I found that the cylinder has been sleeved.Not a problem in its self but when I measured the bore I got 60mm!!The top of the piston has this stamped in it. DOOD

Anyone seen this before?Still need to measure the stroke,but bore alone puts this motor at close to 160cc.Have not been able to Id the maker.Ideas?

Fix her up and ride that big bore! I think just about anyone can set up your motor with a sleeve from wiseco, and a 2T piston that fits. I doubt it was built by a race engine builder, but maybe! Either way, I'm sure you'll enjoy the tractor torque that 160cc is going to put out.

My 193cc is built off the same motor as a 125, just it was made in the factory. Mine is a 64mm. Not sure where a 60mm piston can be sourced?

Where can you get a replacement for that? Seems like the only 60mm pistons available are for ~350cc dual piston snowmobiles.

60mm is a big ol piston for a 125. You might want to check and see what size pistons the guys running the 150 kits for the ama classes run

Be sure to check the big end rod bearing! If that big bore had been ran alot, Might be time for a go down low :/

Yeah might want to inspect the crank bearings too
