So I went riding today...didn't realize when I woke up that it had been raining ALL night, so when we got out to the track it was a mud pit. Would have been fun, but I was giving my old, crappy front tire one last go before I get a new one. It was hilarious. For the first 2 hours you couldn't get any grip. Then 3 of our friends, two on 85s and one on a 250 smoker, showed up and helped us clear the track up
after that it was awesome riding. We were riding from 10am-4:30pm.
Here was the rutted turn where we usually all hang out (right where I'm standing leads back to a little fire pit with overhanging trees so it's nice and shady back there).
My friend Christian on his 125 is pretty quick, here's a couple of him from when we first got there
And I got a perfect pic of him taking a soil sample
notice the mud being thrown from the front wheel, head directly in the ground, rear wheel still spinning, etc.
And then here's some of the official KTM tool destroying our perfect rut by completely missing it, then just pinning it to try and keep the bike upright
