450F 2025 kx450 won’t start

So I bought a 2025 kx450 and it has maybe 3 hours on it, took it out a few days ago and rode all day with no problems, hit a hill climb and halfway up it just died almost like I hit the kill switch, and now it won’t start. Plug was fouled, put a new plug in and tried the flood clear procedure, still won’t start. Any ideas?

Did an oil change on it the morning before riding, don’t know if that has anything to do with it

Sounds like it could be a fuel or sensor issue, check the fuel pump, injector, and tip-over/kill switch wiring since it died suddenly like that.

After you tried to start it, did you check your plug to see if it was dry or had any fuel on it? If dry, probably a fueling issue. If wet, see if there is any spark on the plug by settling it on the engine outside of the cylinder and crank the bike over. If no spark, try another plug. It’s extremely rare, but the new plug may be defective. I’ve had it happen once in over 55 years. Either way, you can start eliminating where to look next.
