The 2014 250 XCF-W highlights KTM’s new line of four-stroke off-road bikes. It now features KTM’s latest generation four-stroke motor with a six-speed transmission.
Two years after the launch of KTM’s newest off-road generation, KTM has again revised its complete enduro competition range for 2014, but headlining the range is the all-new 250 XCF-W.
The big news is that the 2014 250 XCF-W is fitted with an all-new DOHC motor. It’s basically the same motor that the 350 XCF-W got last year, which also includes a six-speed transmission, DDS clutch, an updated ECU and revised exhaust system. KTM claims that the new powerplant for the 250 offers significantly more torque than the previous motor.
The new 250 XCF-W also shares updates that are seen on all of the KTM models in its off-road four-stroke line. They all have a new, lighter frame, new lower triple clamps, updated suspension settings, revised bodywork, new headlights and new colors and graphics.
Claimed weight of the 250 XCF-W is 232.6 pounds, and it holds 2.4 gallons of fuel.
