Never heard of a plastic jet. I would be getting some brass in there. -BIG DANIt's a 480 and it's a plastic jet as apposed to brass. Should I be switching it to brass?
You sure your looking at the right part?So I replaced the throttle cable today and this is the result. I think it's working as it should now. When I had the carb apart I took note of the main jet size.. It's a 480 and it's a plastic jet as apposed to brass. Should I be switching it to brass?

plastic mains are really common. i dont particularly like them, but in their defense they never corrode in and the ones i have were cheap to buy.Never heard of a plastic jet. I would be getting some brass in there. -BIG DAN
plastic or brass will work just fine. someone had a little richer mix in mind than i like, but that still wont make one run high on the idle sideYes the needle goes into this plastic jet and it has the number 480 on it
