Whenever the two stroke is the subject matter. The threads do come alive. It's like they are reborn. Lets keep the trend moving forward for all two strokes small and big bore alike. Let us agree to that at least. :thumb:

I worked for Volkswagen/Porsche/Audi back in 78-86, when they were still all together. You were not even a thought in your pops head. No matter how you slice it, it's a Volkswagen with Lock Washers, and Audi uses Wave Washer. Fun to drive, expensive to work on, and not a bad chick magnet. As long as it is not the new shit. But we all know you swing the other way so your ok without it. :gayfight:

So even though the OP left the building, I would say his answer is no on the 450 motor fitting in the 250 frame. The 05/06 450 has three different frame types (why? That I don't know) and the part numbers are not the same for the 250. Without knowing much about the frames, I can't say for certain, but you may be able to mod the motor mounts to shoe horn it in.

Anyways, that is my $.02 just in case he is lurking on here to find his answer.

Oh and I owned all three - VW, Audi and Porsche - liked them all.

For certain cars you can slice it that way, the 914, 924, 944 were all audi projects I believe, the 356 had a modified VW flat 4, I don't believe the flat 6 911 engine ever made its way into any volkswagon.
