Ocotillo Wells Ca .

:rocker: hell yea. Im gonna be out there as much as i possibly can. OW is pretty much my backyard. i live about a hour and 20 mins from there and there is just so much fun to be had i want to have there this year. Me and PBK had a couple days right before summer hit and no one was there so we had it all to ourselves pretty much. it was a blast. I cant wait for more.

That place is really cool! I've only been a couple times but want to go back. I went there once and camped with MxDirtDiva and friends for Halloween. We went to Shell Reef and Denise does an amazing hill climb where she loops it and does a summersault, turns the bike around and comes back down. She was so annoyed because she always spanks it. So she does it again and again she wipes out! This time she was struggling a little bit to turn the bike around, the guys we were with wanted to go up and help her, I said wait give her a minute, she will want to do this on her own. It was a holiday and there was a giant crowd watching. When she came back down again it was then we noticed her front tire was flat! Poor girl....she wanted to look good and have fun and instead she looked like she didnt know how to ride. I love riding with Denise:banana:
Here is a pic of her cousin and I. He is one of the Mulisha and camped with us for a couple of days:thumb: That Shell Reef is FUN! Although I dont have to nerve to go to the very top. Denise goes further to the top then I do. Her cousin Derek Garland jumps from one hill to the next. It is amazing to watch all those pros out there doing that crazy stuff. And the drunk idiots trying to:lol:

Sometimes the sand blows really bad out there. We had a windy day out there and I came home with sand in everything, even my closed up stuff! Julia protecting her eyes from it.

Heck no...post away, oggling.......sorry, looking at other riders (especially women) is great! Need more of them! My buddies wife who's 45 is thinking of getting a bike. but can't pull the trigger. HE 4wd in a Suzuki Samurai (Zookenstein) and she says it's too rough PLUS she saw me riding and thought that would be more fun! I told her/them to let me know and we'll go bike shopping! :thumb:

You can still ride there, just do it at night. It's a lot of fun, really. Most think it's insane to even contemplate until they try it with sufficient lighting. Don't even think of doing with stock lighting. It is not even close to enough light.

here is my bike at the top of bowsands...

that was on teh second day but the first morning there I was the first person to put a track on bowsand.. in all the times i have gone as a teen i have NEVER seen it clean with ZERO tracks. i felt really lucky to be the first one to put a tire track in the sand that week.

Trav, I was just gonna say that. looks like virgin sand, :ride: Crisp clear early morning from a windy night before due to no tracks and rippled sand.:thumb:

Cool Pics.

we got there on a tuesday night. It really wasnt that windy at all. Wednesday I woke up and first thing i did was fire up the bike and boogie up the steep side of blowsands... that was when i put the first tracks. That night something like 2 buggys went up and thats was it. Thursday morning i was hoping it would be fresh again but it wasnt... thats when i took those pics
