The Stacks RR

3-3-2012 i met up with TWS and son, Rhyno Roof and a couple of his buddys for some :ride:

in OW.

No real destination besides trying to find all these rocks that are stacked up. Thus the name of the RR is The Stacks. We played around at the spots like shell reef. i got a flat right before pumpkin patch and had to limp back to the truck. i guess 15 psi wasnt enough so i went to 18 :lol:

after that i randomly picked a hill to go up and finally found the fire hydrant i have seen on the map for ever but never been to. Here was some really fun ridges that i want to go back and explore more of.

Seems you get a few too many flats out there in the dirt. I always run 14lbs and not a problem yet. Now I got to find some wood to knock on.

the stupid thing was that i carry all that crap in my vest and i forgot to restock it with tubes.... the other thing ... i had two canisters left. first one popped and the valve was open so that was gone. i gave a big fuck to it all. then i found a second one. it did no good. when i changed the tube the hole was about a inch wide... lol no patch fix a flat or air is gonna fix that one.

Great video Trav my son really enjoyed getting back on the bike after a few year in training in the Navy. Now that he is stationed in SD we will have to do it agian.

I've missed my OW window for this year. It sucks I only made one trip down there. I really think I'm going there for Thanksgiving. Monday to Wednesday down there just freakin rocks. :rocker:
