As some of you regular members may have heard, I had surgery yesterday to fix my torn labrum (right shoulder). Arrived at the out patient surgery center at 7am and was out of there around 11am (only 1 1/2 hour surgery). :rocker:

While he was digging around in there, he also found something wrong the rotator cuff, but I don't remember what.

For those of you that don't know what the labrum is....

They basically insert some anchors into the bone and tie the piece(s) back on. And then the fun part is wearing a sling for 6-10 weeks. :pout:

Couple pictures:

Making sure that they do the correct shoulder.

Using the badarse cold therapy (ice) machine. :rocker: (Highly recommend)

Those spots on my neck are from the nerve block.

6 - 10 weeks in a Sling  I think I had mine on for maybe 4, back on the back in 12 weeks. This lasts one was a little longer as it was torn on the bicep tendon.

Doing the dangle rotation already to keep it loose? Keep ice on for at least the first 3 - 4 days.

my last one failed after about a year of being fixed. have not gone back. Cant swing golf club anymore, aches most of the time, has a catch in it now. Should go back and get it done again before I get any older.
