250F 05 kx250f please help

bike was not cranking with a kick so had to push and had little compression so I did rings (staggered), valves, and shims and its running now. I cut it off and haven't rode it because of some issues.

#1 the front oil plug on the front of the head blew off, not sure if it was loose or what so I put it back in and tightened the bolt next to it back down
#2 there is oil leaking from the crank case overflow
#3 the oil is milky
i bought this for a few hundred bucks, just trying to get it right.
334-520-9460 is my number call/txt anytime or just write me on here, thanks!

yeah you need a total rebuild including a head job... dont cut corners or you will spending more $$$$

crank rebuild
cylinder replate
crank bearings
camchain & tensioner
New valves, seats and tappets
have the head cut...
James should be along shortly with some more info. He has an 05

Also welcome to DBA:thumb:

Thanks and I am sure that the bike could have used a full rebuild but I just don't have the funds to do a full rebuild. I am thinking it could be the head gasket?

He might as well just ditch the bike as parts to fix this are worth more than the bike

Ok... YOU DO NOT NEED A COMPLETE ENGINE REBUILD. I used to own an 07' KX250F, I had the same problems... The milky oil is caused by a water leak, I would try replacing the water pump seals ($30). Also, my KX250F used to blow oil out when it got overheated... I think the water pump seals will fix your problem. BTW if you just filled the oil up if it is higher than it should be it will blow oil out the breather hose... :thumb:
