Somehow I totally missed the expansion chamber. Been kicking around a few more bikes and racing a bit more before I hit the big 40. 450xcf-w and a 300 are on the list but I’m not sure on xcfw vs xcf

Finally got the swingarm swap all buttoned up and took for a test ride. Freaking arm hurts like hell hanging on but bike looks awesome.

Amazing. I do like how that looks. DId you have to use the H2 rear brake hose and master cylinder?

I agree - REALLY like the looks. Someone posted an XR650L they had done a single sidearm conversion on; really cool.

Yeah big D had to get a new caliper, hose, shock knuckle, ABS tone ring and various bits. When I found the arm and wheel on ebay for $1,200 I thought hey that's a bargain... bearings and misc from Kwak Japan pushed it to $2,500!

I decided less is better and just used one 45 and kept it tight. Now I need another project!
