Is there a bolt that still threads in?Quick question, how do you think I should fix that shaft?
Nope, no bolt. Perhaps with some very careful hammering, I can get it so a condition where I’ll be able to get a bolt on it. Or, do I just cut that bit off with a hacksaw or something? Is there a bolt that still threads in?
That doesn't look salvagable, unless it still functions as intended, then just run it.

Looks like it was originally a nut on the end of that shaft. You'll have to find a way to retain the flywheel on the shaft, or get a new crank.Nope, no bolt. btw, Thanks for all the Help Dan!!

I think cutting it or tapping it would work, we’ll see when we get there.Looks like it was originally a nut on the end of that shaft. You'll have to find a way to retain the flywheel on the shaft, or get a new crank.

Looks like it's had a hard life. Maybe fella didnt know it was LH threads, or was prying in there.Bummer, those threads are stripped too!!!! (How on earth did the previous guy do that? \
Yup, I hope I can get it going again…. So I guess my only hope now is to rethread the holes in the flywheel… (not the main one, there are others)Looks like it's had a hard life. Maybe fella didnt know it was LH threads, or was prying in there.
