What did you do to your car/truck today?

traded in.
5 new chevys in a row I thought it was time for a change.

Feels 10 years ahead of my ‘19 Silverado

100mi later it’s the nicest most comfortable truck I’ve ever owned.

pipe down snowman I don’t want to hear any “I told you so” bullshit.

upgrade like a mfkr
My father always said “if you need to get a job done buy a Ford” he was right.
I really liked my f150 for the family stuff but I went from an F250 to the 150 and I really missed the F250 for getting the job done. I loved that 6.0 diesel motor too.

those trucks look so much better in person than they do in pics (not talking shit) when they first came out I was skeptical but after seeing em in person, ford did alright. 5.0?

Nice truck snowman I've got the small fry 2.7 turbo
getting 21 mpg in town and 325hp seems to get me down the road well enough I really like it so far. Don't have to do a lot of heavy lifting so I don't expect to need much more. Love the big screen nav system

I’m glad you stayed away from the ecoboost. I feel like the reliability will suffer from the higher tolerances they built into those engines
mine had 113k on it, gave no indication that it was going to fail, 113k is far from a record, but I mean, 6 digits with no real issues isnt something to really scoff at.
IMO the ecoboost is a good, hard working motor that offers improved capability over other trucks in its class with no huge drawbacks

The naturaly aspirated 5.0 has my attention, any turbo gasoline engine is too prone to problems, even if it is religiously maintained. That’s what I’ve seen over my 35 years of working under the hood.

Mine was at 160 with non issues occasionally a coil. Fine little truck for getting bmulch and haul little dirt scooters

No photo, hauled 14 cabinets to replace the ones mom doesn’t like in the new house.

Doesn’t like the shaker, so out with them, and in with Oak, also adding the under counter dishwasher instead of that little portable, sidexside refer, and looking for chocolate colored Corian countertop, with western style knobs, drawer pulls added to go with the Seletto flooring all ready in the house.

I these will be nice.
And waste not, want not, one of the other houses I bought for the daughters will get a remodel with the old cabinets and appliances.
