Bleeding your forks/shock

Okay, I watched a video about forks and they said you should bleed your forks before loading it up after a ride. They said air builds up in them from the ride and if you tie your bike down with all that air in them, you can blow out your seals. Now, I do bleed mine when ever I can remember but not after every time I ride. So, who bleeds their forks after every ride and how come there is not a air bleeder on the rear shock?

I bleed mine when its on the stand or something but never before I haul it. I do use a block of wood between my tire and fender so I'm not really compressing the shocks on mine when I haul it.

After every moto:prof: and after I pull into the yard and loosen the tie-downs.

I generally do before I leave, while it's still on the stand. :ride:

There should be a nipple somewhere on the rear shock as it needs to be pressurized. Mines under the reservoir, don't mess with it though. :thumb:

I thought that is where they filled it with nitrogen

I have two release valves on my front forks that all i have to do is press down on for like a half a second, your only suposed to use it when it is off the ground and on its stand but i use it evertime i get my bike out of the truck or befor i get it in to the truck.:thumb:

naw there is a standerd screw head and a nipple on each forktube :thumb:i think you buy them after market and install them, it makes life much easyer:prof:
Any idea what aftermarket companies make them? It's a pain in the ass having to unscrew them every time. Not to mention I have never found a fat enough screw driver to fit in the slots on the screws so they get messed up fast.
