No way. Five hundred yards minimum as the crow flies from asphalt.

I once parted a sea of hwy traffic with a bbq grill, as observed through my rear view mirror.maybe it fell out of the back of a truck? I lost a helmet that way.
I dunno. I kinda was hoping it would stay buried.I had no idea this thread existed. Very very cool.
@timoyz..... maybe it fell out of the back of a truck? I lost a helmet that way.

Damn right! And like a true New Yorker you just kept driving like some other A-hole did it.
Damn right!
Once I had a pickup drop the spare right in front of me. It bounced a few times and I drove right under it! I thought it was going to smash through the windshield.
I did the same thing with pool table, one of the bar style quarter slot machines. Me and a buddy, 70mph, westbound I-94, St. Paul, MN, 7am Monday morning rush-hour traffic. It never did play right after that...I once parted a sea of hwy traffic with a bbq grill, as observed through my rear view mirror.
Probably a good 25 years ago I was behind a pickup truck doing bout 45 or so, in the back of the pickup was a golden lab, peering over one side of the bed then over the other side, truck hit a bump and this poor dog hit the pavement, bouncing and Rolling, we both stopped and before I could open my door to check Fido out, the lab jumped up and ran back to the truck......the dogs owner was like, he does that all the time, no worries.
