Multistrada

Hey guy's, I have been reading a lot about the new Multistrada and can't stop drooling. I ride 80% dirt, but like to hit the pavement once in awhile. I am thinking about selling my ZX 14 and getting something like that or the GS 800. Has anyone seen one up close yet? I dont think it is a true adventure bike, as it doesn't look dirt worthy but it sure is sexy.

The BMW is a badass bike. Would entertain getting one of those as well......seen pics of the Multi as well, but nothing in person. Anyone else? :excuseme:

Hey aj, You are right I really like the GS. I am starting to get the adventure bug. I have never had that type of bike but they sure look fun. The GS look's plenty capable offroad also, maybe not for the really technical stuff, but for general offroad use. I think I would find myself riding it more than I do my ZX.

S-10, the 800 is quite a bit lighter than the 1200, and looks to be a ton more fun. If I could have one of each in my garage, I would though.....I'm a greedy bastard, what can I say. And with your foot, a new adventure bike might suit you better anyhow. The KTM adventure bikes a hidious to look at, I couldn't imagine dropping that much coin on something that god-awful ugly. Everything is measured against the BMW it would seem.....

PS: read your PM at TT :thumb: now I know who the new KTM Dude is at DBA !!!!

That 2010 Multistrada is my divorce bike. As soon as I get it I will get a ....., well, you can guess the rest.
It has everything I want, 150hp, light (just over 400 lbs), and has hard bags and adjustable suspension all for only $19,995.:hail:

Yes I have seen one, sat on it, and started it up. It was just as closing time at the dealer and he told me to come back next week to ride it, which I will. I spoke to 2 others that rode the bike, (test ride day) and they loved it. Its not as dirt worthy as say a F800gs cuz of tire size etc, but it is one bad ass machine. $20k is alot for a bike, but you get some 150hp along with 'enduro' 'sport' and 'touring' mappings.

Awesome bike forsure.
