Loyer, yes. My hypothesis would be, he wore ie. "Reflective clothing" to easily be seen by other riders to help protect his passenger!
Now I need you to spell something out for me!

That is likely to be in court lol. hard to believe my son was a little bit smaller when he came back from a ride with me and told my wife about jumping a "screw you". I think after the first time he made me take him back over it 3 more times. Didn't set well at home.

I'd be in court before the close of business that day if I ever tried something like that. Funny thing is, it would be the only legitimate time my psycho ex ever brought me to court.
Although I'm not sure that Father is doing anything wrong; unless he crashes and the kid gets hurt, then CPS would say child endangerment, or something similar.

I am not disagreeing with that logic at all, but my speculation was from a legal standpoint.
I certainly would never do that.
But then again I'd strap Zach right now into a tandem skydive rig and take him on his 1st jump if I could.
I know of kids whose dads (dropzone owners) took them skydiving at 4 years old, and they are bad-asses right now, the very best of the best, and top of the sport.

I'm the 1st one to grab a kid and put him on the front of a bike with me and ride around our track, but to take a jump like that with the kid. Not cool imo.

I would expect most normal people to respond that way! I was put in much more dangerous positions as a kid on the farm, perhaps only a cpl years older than that kid! However, it would have been considered normal work duties back then! Today, it would be deemed abuse!

Oh shit yeah. Farm work is seriously dangerous.
I know a lady who is now around 70, but lost her left arm in a combine accident at 12 years old.
We didn't have CPS back then though.
Back when men were men, and political correctness was frowned upon.
The good ol' days...

Thank you, personally, I blew out my L5 when I was in the 2nd grade! Currently it's at stage 4 deterioration, still have scar on my hand from just burning the garbage at age 9... cut the tip of my left thumb off at age 14! Etc etc etc
Lots of cool memories though! Got my first car at age 13! It was a 58 Mercury! Lol. learned a work ethic that I believe is only 2nd to two! Bottom line? That guy has taken that jump no less than 1000 times, I would guess the track was pristine, and the odds of him getting hurt were very very slim!
