some LPNF Vids

Tryin to get some Warranty work approved.. The Piston~Rings~Cylinder appears to be shot at three months old.

Wow. I am on my second ktm. The first was an 08 450 exc I sold it to a friend of mine with just under 4000 miles and about 186 hours on it. It still runs great and he enjoys ridin' it. I replaced it with a 2010 450 exc. It has about 1000 miles on it. I have had ZERO issues with both of these bikes.

It's quite possible I am just a lucky guy who got a lemon. my 09 530 exc has been using an excessive amount of oil, and hard to start. the dealer looked at it and found out the piston, rings, and cylinder were badly worn. this is a new bike, has to have a defect to be worn so quick. 3 months. It's being looked at, waiting for resolution. at least I have a good backup. the Honda crf250x works pretty good, however, I miss the power of the KTM. hopefully this gets resolved soon. I'm missing the dual sport opportunities.

I shit you not - I must know 20 guys that ride pumpkins and I can think of two specifically that have had nothing but trouble - one problem after another...

I think 1 out of every 10 that leave the factory come with a complementary gremlin. Congratulations - looks like you're in the 10% :thumb:

Foot is fine, just a slight pain. what is killing me is my damn knee. the one I injured a few weeks back. maybe I put too much weight on it (no fat remarks, LOLOL) when recovering randy's bike (lift with your legs, not with your back), or maybe because it's slightly colder and us old guys get a case of Arthritis. naaaaa. can't be it, as I am a youngin'
That sucks, I've also had the misfortune to injury mine. At first I only wore knee pads, but then I decided to try braces. Wow big difference, my knee's/legs don't hurt the day after anymore. So what I'm trying to say is if you ever get the chance, try some, unless you're already wearing braces..... :ride:

I have been looking at braces and will get a pair. Just waiting to see if I need to spend some bucks on my KTM fix or if it's covered. braces are expensive. Wheeew. but worth it compared to knee injury.

:thumb:That is correct, but $600 is nothing compared to the 10-15k a simple arthroscopic surgery costs. :bonk:

They almost help when you have a previous injury were it hurts to ride, they'll provide stability so it doesn't hurt as much the next day. :ride:

Hey James - what kind of braces are you rocking??

It is possible to get knee braces covered by your insurance.. I have 80/20 insurance so my cti II OTS braces cost me 400 bucks. IMHO they are more comfortable then the astricks. I wanted the cti II customs but I kindof got shafted by the fitter.. either way the OTS's are kick ass.
