That does not sound good. Damn!!Damage is due to Timos need to ride. A oil filter cover bolt stripped before our Stupid Bowl ride, so I did a Helicoil on it. Problem is that the threads I did, was also a direct feed to the crank.:2xpicard: I haven't split the cases yet, that's tonight, but cylinder is faucked, rod is frozen to the crank, and when i got the clutch out, I noticed the oil pump was near frozen. I was expecting little thread repair left over shat, but once I opened it up, it started moving freely, so I'm curious to split her open, and see the pickup screen
So, looking at cylinders, or replating, or sleeving, what's everyones opinion on big bore kits? Clutch plates? Stick with stock, or is there a good aftermarket product? OEM piston? JE? Wiseco? I need to start ordering today.![]()
